Family Weekend Downstate

Week 32 - Yes I have skipped a few weeks, but in all honesty not much happened except for an expanding belly and lots of homework, so for the sake of saving myself time, we are going right from week 29 to 32, sorry :-(
So we were back in Michigan for another busy weekend, this time it was for the Ruhle family reunion, celebrating a 60th wedding anniversary, a baby shower, and some time visiting with friends.
I am happy to report the family reunion when wonderful, it was good to see everyone and catch up, even if it was for a short while. I also want to say congratulations to Tom's grandparents who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary! I can only hope that Tom and I will be so lucky! I didn't take any pictures at the family reunion, since I had a case of misplacing the camera, which I am going to blame on pregnancy, while I still have the excuse. On a serious note though, most days I feel like my brain is detached from the rest of my body.... work can be a challenge!
Also over the weekend was my second baby shower.... yes I know were spoiled... but I already told you that! :-) I again have to thank everyone who was able to make it because again there was some family for several states away who were able to make it. I also want to thank my mother-in-law and future sister-in-law for putting on such a nice shower, you guys are the best and I'm happy to have married into such a great family! And I do have some pictures from the baby shower because my wonderful future sister-in-law took some and sent them to me. Thanks Jac!

So here is your side shot, for the week. Standing next to Jac... I look even bigger!
We also had a chance to hang out with some friends on their new boat which was awesome. Here are few pics... and yes that would be my crazy husband in the water! At least he had a wet suit shirt on! Thanks Jim and Cody, we had fun and we'll be back later in the summer when I can participate in water activities again!
But the big adventure of the weekend was our dog Nixon running away and getting picked up on the side of the road. Long story short, he tried to follow us when we left to go boating and go picked up sitting on the side of the road. Luckily, with his tags there were able to figure out where he needed to be. Thank-god he didn't get hit and for good people who went out of their way to make sure it got home safely. I think that I might have gone in to labor early if something happened to him, since he is and always will be our first baby.
