Week 40 +4 - So obviously still no baby. But I did go to the doctors today. The good and bad news is that if I don't have the baby by Tuesday July 21st, they are going to induce me which I'm not thrilled about but wasn't given an option. The good news is that there is two different ways of inducing and since I have progressed somewhat on my own, I have to have the least invasive of the two methods, only drugs through an IV or maybe just breaking my water. Hopefully this baby will come before that, but if not Tuesday is the day.
Other news I got while at the doctors was the I am having contractions. I can't feel them, which they said was impressive, but doesn't mean that I will think labor is breeze either. The more I learn about this labor and prego thing, the least scientific I think it is. I have come to the conclusion that God is complete control of the situation and doctors go with the flow, because really don't have an exact answer to lots of questions.
I have decided then that today is going to be last day of work, since I would only be in on Monday. Maybe I'll try and squeeze one more date night out of my hubby Monday night, before our lives become hectic and sleep depribed. We'll keep everyone updated but please pray for this to start naturally so I don't have to be induced!
