Sorry it has been so long...

7 Weeks - It has been a busy three weeks since our last post in the Kareus Household. We have been back to Michigan twice for Tom's 10 year reunion (that's right, he's getting old :-)) and for two weddings / Carter meets extended family visits. Since our last blog Carter has experienced tons of firsts such as:

Baseball Game - Louisville Bats with our friends Steve and Jaci
Hotel stay
Trip around lake Michigan which of course includes crossing the Mackinaw bridge
Hiking / Waterfall visit
Finally meeting Aunt Heidi and of course all of our other special friends and family members who's names I can't possibly list as I'd be here all day!
Trip to Camp, which is one of my favorite spots!
Boat Ride and the list goes on and on

I wish I had pictures of all of the firsts Carter experienced on our 11 day trip around lake Michigan but like a bad mom I forgot a camera.... I know seriously who does that with a baby.... I guess me. Luckily lots of family had camera's so as soon as they send me pics I will add them to the blog.

Other updates about our little pride and joy. He loves his play mat, and being naked. Diaper changing time is one of his favorites.... we may have a streaker on our hands in the future. :-)
He is also smiling a ton, recognizes Tom and my voice which is really cool, and is getting really strong! He has also grown out of all of his newborn clothes and is eating like crazy. Tom and I are really enjoying all of the changes he is making and can't believe how fast he is growing up!

As we have so many special people in our lives who are celebrating huge milestones I have decided to start making shout outs... my invention. So here are my shout outs for this post.

Congratulations Mark, Sarah, Aubrey and Tiller on adding Joshua to your family. We can't wait to meet him.

Jeremy and Teri congrats again on your marriage we loved that we could be a part of the festivities... now to some baby making so Carter has another playmate! :-)

Dan and Jess congrats on your marriage too, it was a beautiful day and we hope you keep in touch.

Chris and Emily... a little birdie told me that your are engaged! Congratulations!!!
