Weekend Project

8 weeks - This weekend which is the first we've been home in three, we decided to paint the shed. We couldn't have ordered better weather. Carter enjoyed being outside with us and all the fresh air made him tired. Here are some pictures of the finished product and since pictures can be deceiving, it is mossy green color but almost looks gray.
Carter spent his time outside with us in his carrier.

This carrier was lent to me from my parents as they used it for my sister and me. It is really handy to pick him up and move him when he's sleeping. And of course we had to put a bug net over him so he didn't get eaten alive by mosquito's!

And as always here are some pictures of the man himself smiles and all. And he is smiling a ton now!

Yes he has my bug eyes!

He actually rolled over from his stomach to his back on Friday last week, but I of course missed it when I left the room for 2 seconds. Ughhh.... I better get used to is as I'm sure I won't see most of the actual firsts with going back to work next week. Going back to work has it own set of complications... read on.

Since daycare isn't cooperating (i.e. doesn't have an opening) Tom is going to work a split 3rd and 1st shift at Rotary and I'm going to work a late 1st shift at Cummins until we can get into daycare. Hopefully it won't be long, but I am thankful that our jobs, especially bosses are flexible enough to accommodate us. Tom and I are truly blessed to work for wonderful people and neither of them read this so were not sucking up. Hopefully we'll get into the Cummins daycare in the next few weeks, but in the mean time at least we get to spend more time with our son. We hope everyone's week is going good.
