First Airplane Ride

11 Weeks - So this weekend Carter and I headed back to the U.P. while Daddy went golfing. He did great on the flights! He barely fused at all. I believe the key to success is they either need to be eating or sucking on a nuk during take off and landing so their ears pop. Carter is one of the most good natured babies I known... and I'm not just saying that because he's ours. Margret and Jen his daycare teachers tell me that too, unless they tell everyone that.

So since I brought up day care, Carter seems to be well adjusted, me on the other hand, I am struggling. I'm fine after I get to work but at about 4:30 I am practically running out of the building to get him. Its very long days, about 11 hours from the time I leave until we get home at night. Tom and I have already had discussions about how things are going to change with baby number two. We have lots of ideas but we'll just have play it by ear and see how the cards fall, one thing I can promise is that we will not be doing what we are now. Oh and just for those of you wondering were not pregnant again! It'll be awhile.

Carter is getting big, at his last doctors appointment he weight 12.5 oz and was 23 inches long. He is starting to grip everything and is making lots more non crying sounds. He has also started to grow fat rolls. :-) The most noticeable ones are on his wrists, kind of starting to look like the marsh mellow man from ghost busters, but much cuter! At least we know he's well feed.

Here are some pictures from our weekend in Michigan!

Auntie and Carter found a new thing they like to do together, sleep. After being home I already picked out my Christmas present, a glider rocker. I didn't want one at first but Carter really likes it and I find it relaxing.
