Recap of the last few weeks. Well we are out and about enjoying the nice fall weather! Tom ran another 5K in Madison, and we have been to two fall festivals over the past few weeks. My favorite of course was the Oktoberfest in Seymour! We love to eat and I got to enjoy my Sauerkraut soup! It was excellent!
This past week Carter and I headed up to the U.P. on a business trip. That's right I got to go home on the company dollar because it was for work! I spent the week recruiting at Michigan Tech and Carter and I both got to see family! The weather was gorgeous and we found some good candidates so I'd say it was a successful but busy week! On Friday afternoon we headed to the Wallace Zoo (in the U.P.) They had a ton of lions and tigers, including a white bangled tiger!
Also over the past few weeks Carter has transitioned on into the next daycare room. It was time for him to go but I am going to miss his infant teachers, Miss Jen and Mrs. Margret. They have been awesome and it would have been much more difficult without them!
Running around at the zoo!
I think I'm big when I wear grandpa's boots!
Playing while we wait for the plane to go home!
At the zoo. Carter was still looking at the hippo. :-)
A beautiful tiger!
I think Carter liked the ducks the best!
Blackmail for the future... doesn't he look like Steve Urkel
Beautiful sunset at my Grandma's house in Chassell
Although I missed the peak colors in Houghton, I did manage to capture this cool photo at a park!
Carter at the festival in Madison!
No wonder I couldn't get the VCR to work... someone put a toothbrush in it.. wonder who that was.
Carter with his infant teachers on his last day! They were almost in tears when I left!
Carter's 1st Carousel Ride... not sure what he thought of it.
And his first big slide ride! Despite his face he was smiling on the way down!
