So here is round 2... in the middle of January! :-) So we got into the UP and we had Christmas almost immediately. I don't think that my parents could wait to give Carter his present! As you can see below it is a HUGE bouncing horse, equipment with galloping sounds! I don't know who was enjoying this present more Carter or Grandma!
Carter really took to Chester while we were in the U.P. I don't know that Chester thought about Carter though. He doesn't look to pleased does he. I think that Carter liked Chester so much because Chester let him do just about anything to him and Nixon doesn't let Carter pull on his ears, cuddle with him and he definitely doesn't let Carter jump on his head like in the picture below.
Carter and Auntie Heidi hanging out on the couch during our Micheal Jackson dance night. Carter loved the music and dancing with us. He also quickly figured out it wasn't as much fun if he didn't have a remote. Smart cookie we have.
We also had the opportunity during the week to go up to Chassell and visit with my mom's side of the family. Our relatives from Florida were also visiting and Carter definitely liked feeling like one of the big kids....
And he really liked Allie. She couldn't get away from him! Not sure how much she is around little ones like this but she was a good sport about it. In the picture below she is trying to get him off of her lap. We'll see all of these cousins again in May when Andie graduates. We'll see if he still can't get enough of her then!
Although Carter was feeling under the weather and we didn't get him out skiing, Heidi and I did get a chance to play outside a bit and make a snowman. It was perfect snowman making snow.
We both said that we couldn't remember the last time we made a snow man. Carter didn't help much but he did pretty well considering he couldn't move in his boot and snowsuit very well.
Carter and Auntie playing in the snow. We do have gloves for him but they wouldn't say on his hands so he kept taking them off.
We kept it a low key New Years this year but here is a picture with Grandma and Grandpa at dinner.
And one of more of the family!
That wraps up our posts of Christmas 2010.... check back shortly for a post from China!
