Ahhh.... spring.. or more like summer here. It has been in the mid 80's a few days this week and we have been outside as much as possible enjoying the weather. The spring and fall are gorgeous in Southern Indiana. Tom and I have decided that this summer we wanted to get out and be more active so we've been out biking a few times this week. I don't know what Carter thinks about it... he doesn't smile but he doesn't cry either. He just sits there. I think its alot for him to take in. On Tuesday night we biked for about an hour and other than the poopy diaper 1/2 way through he was excellent and Tom and I got a work out! Our biking paths around here are really really hilly, so I should have legs of steel by the end of the summer. :-)
I haven't provided and update on what our little man is doing now lately so I'll try and cover the bases.
He loves to put things up near his eyes. (Just like his Auntie Heidi did)
He is eating about anything soft that we eat
He likes his face covered when he takes a bottle
He is not crawling and I don't expect him to anytime soon as he still hates tummy time.
He loves to stand up and is starting to figure out how to move his feet... I give it three weeks before he starts cruising on furniture
He loves to watch his puppy
He is still always happy unless he has a poopy diaper, is tired, or hungry
He will play by himself to 1/2 hr or more somtimes... I know were spoiled to have such a good baby
He loves bath time and to be tossed in the air

In other news we are teaching him sign language. The daycare he is at teaches the kids basic signs like please, more, eat, and drink. Which is awesome! But we are going to work on expanding his signs to as much as he will absorb. We'll keep you posted on our progress.
