Well it is 11:15 p.m. and I'm still up packing for our trip to Michigan. We are leaving tomorrow around noon, barring any major delays that is. We bought a mini van earlier this year for trips like this but I am starting to wonder if we are going to get everything to fit! Maybe we bought to many Christmas gifts.. :-)
I have just a few pictures from the past 10 days. I realized tonight as I was looking at them that I haven't taken many. Well that won't be the case over the next 10 days! And I didn't forget the camera it is already on the table ready to be packed... now if I only knew where the case is for it.... I'm not exactly the most organized person, for those who know me really well, but I really really disorganized when I pack! Not really sure how my mom kept it all together when we traveled, but one this is for sure she is much more organized than me.
So this week or last can't remember now, Carter found his infant bath tub and loves to sit in it, without water. Not sure what is appealing about it but I figure its harmless and he's happy. In the second picture he has a friend, his penguin. He wasn't really sure what to make of if when he first got it but he is quite entertained with it.
Last weekend Tom took me on a date and it was so nice to spend some one on one time with him. Our time like that always reminds me how much I love him! We went to Fogo de Chao a Brazilian Steak House. The meat was awesome! Then we went and did Carter's Toy Shopping and finally we rounded out the evening by going to see Wicked! It was the best Broadway production we've ever seen. If you get the chance go see it. It is worth every penny... lots of pennies.
As you can tell from the picture below we got Carter a bike. He loves it as you can also see. He accidentally saw me bring it into the house and then through a temper tantrum when I wouldn't let him in the room to see it... so needless to say we have a mini Christmas right then. I was also spoiled again... because Tom got me a glider rocker! Love it and so does Carter!
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! Next post will be in 2011!
